Bohannan Dentistry opened it's doors to the city of Bedford in 1974 with Dr. Roger and just 3 employees. Thirty-five years later, Bohannan Dentistry has added Dr. Roger's son Dr. David Bohannan. In 2009, we made the bold move to North Richland Hills in our newly-constructed office near the intersection of Davis and Mid-Cities Blvd.
We also believe strongly in supporting the mid-cities communities that we work and live in. Bohannan Dentistry works with a variety of non-profit groups and is a proud member of the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce.

We plan and prepare for your visit long before you arrive. Our friendly and incredibly skilled team works hard to assess your needs. We take pride in delivering the kind of service often only found at five-star hotels. We are also committed to excellent dentistry. Our doctors and staff regularly exceed state requirements in continuing education.
The best care must also be supported with the best diagnostic capability. Our offices are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including digital x-ray technology for clearer pictures with less radiation and we employ the use of several tools to detect early health problems.

Roger Bohannan, D.D.S.

Dr. Roger Bohannan, a Texas native, has been practicing dentistry for over forty-one years. Dr. Bohannan utilizes his outstanding experience and expertise while treating patients in our office. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1969.
After graduation he served in the United States Air Force practicing dentistry. Dr. Bohannan began private practice in the Mid-cities area in 1971. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has been married for 45 years to his beautiful wife, Donna, and is very involved in his local church. He guarantees a smile if you mention his grandchildren!
David Bohannan, D.M.D.

Dr. David joins his father's practice with an enthusiastic approach to dental care. One of the aspects of dentistry that he loves most is gaining the trust of his patients by showing them he genuinely cares for their health. He believes that a healthy, beautiful smile can truly change people's lives.
Dr. David received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in 2002 and received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University in 2006. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, and the Texas Dental Association. He cherishes time with his wife, two boys, and daughter outside of the office.
Marguiett Rucker, Office Manager
Marguiett has been our office manager for over 36 years. Yes, that's right 36 years! She has a kind and comfortable personality that is appreciated by the patients and staff. Patients can be assured that she will listen to their concerns and needs in our office. Marguiett enjoys interacting with patients and guiding them through their visit. During her free time she may be spotted surrounded by her family along with eight great-grandchildren!
Lometa Davis, Insurance Coordinator
Lometa has been with us for 14 years in our front office. She is a wonderful help to every patient who has questions concerning finances and insurance. Patients know Lometa will spend extra time with them concerning their circumstances. The experiences she enjoys the most in the dental office are when she sees patients gain beautiful new smiles. Since her husband Dean is a travel agent, she can often be found in an exotic location when not at work.
Melissa Alexander, Child Care Coordinator, Business Assistant
As the newest member of our staff, Melissa possibly has the job all of us envy. She is the director of our Early Smiles childcare facility. She is also a member of our front office staff when not taking care of our patient's children. She has also become an important part of the business team by working with our patients in the front office. She enjoys helping people and seeing happy patients leave our office with beautiful smiles. Melissa is excellent at communicating with our patients and helping them overcome any challenges with their dental appointment. Outside of the office family, Melissa spends most of her time with her family and friends. She enjoys playing games, music, Bible studies, and is always up for a good laugh.
Karen Stewart-Baxter, RDH
Karen is another valued member of our dental family. She has been with our office for over twenty years. Over the years Karen has gained a wonderful group of patients that depend on her for healthy, beautiful teeth through hygiene visits. She has a calm, gentle personality that patients admire in a hygienist. Karen looks forward to meeting new patients and educating them with their oral health needs. Outside the office Karen spends time with her family and friends. She and her husband love live theatre, and they have season tickets to the Dallas Summer Musicals.
Ashley Stevenson, RDH
Ashley recently joined our office fresh out of hygiene school. She is an incredible addition to our staff due to her wonderful attitude and passion towards helping her patients with their dental needs. Ashley's favorite aspect of dentistry is helping people feel good about their smiles and listening to them so that she can understand their dental needs. Outside of the office she enjoys time with her husband, Brandon, and daughter Mackenzie. She also stays involved in her church and loves big family gatherings.
Francis Martin DiCarlo, RDH
Francis rounds out our team of hygienists with an exciting approach and passion for her patients. One of her great attributes is her desire to show people that they can have a positive, pain-free experience in her chair. She also enjoys teaching patients ways to improve their smile as well as their overall health. When she's not at work, Francis loves spending time with her husband, Gabriel and their son, Sebastian. The family kitty, Mr. Jingles also gets a lot of her attention!
Farah Tashakori, RDA
Farah has been a dental assistant in our office for 20 years. She is a key member of our clinical staff. One of Farah's attributes is how she makes patients feel comfortable and relaxes them during dental treatment. Farah's favorite part of dental assisting is being able to help people with their oral health needs. On the weekends Farah is busy with her family and friends. One of her favorite activities is shopping; so watch out Dallas here she comes!
Angel Garland, RDA
Angel is another experienced dental assistant with 12 years in the field and 5 years with our dental family. As a full-time assistant with our office, she is strategically involved with every aspect of patient care. Angel truly enjoys many of the procedures within dentistry including more involved surgical treatment. One of Angel's favorite elements of her position is being able to connect with the patients of our practice. On the weekends and during her free time, she enjoys relaxing with family at the lake and barbecuing.
Samantha Hightower, RDA
Samantha has over ten years of experience as a dental assistant. She has, however, been around dentistry her entire life with her mom who is a dental assistant and her father who was a dental lab technician. She enjoys working with people and helping them find their smile. Samantha is excellent at clarifying patient's dental needs and helping them feel comfortable with their treatment. Samantha loves to spend time with her husband and four children watching movies.
Shelby Boutte, RDA
Shelby is a recent member of our office staff. She has quickly become an important addition to our dental assisting crew. We are excited to see Shelby grow in our office and excel in taking care of our patient's needs. Her favorite part of her job is helping people get the smile they have always wanted. One of Shelby's strengths is keeping things organized around the office so that we can provide efficient treatment to our patients. Outside of the office she enjoys time with family, working out, singing and dancing. She also loves organizing spaces and interior design.
